Formed in 2009, the Youth and United Nations Global Alliance is a gateway for young people around the world to get involved in the activities and initiatives of the United Nations.

YUNGA seeks to empower children and young people to have a greater role in society, raise awareness and become active agents of change. YUNGA aims to engage young people in activities of key environmental and social concern at both national and international levels.
YUNGA AMBASSADOR
Program
The YUNGA Ambassador Program is an initiative by YUNGA Japan that aims to encourage Japanese youth to analyze real-life issues critically and to identify possible solutions innovatively to achieve the 2030 agenda and the SDGs.
The program will act as a catalyst of the transformative process in the community, it will promote the use of a wide range of active and participatory learning methods that engage the youth in critical thinking about complex global issues, and in developing skills such as communication, co-operation, project and community management.
Program objectives
Bring young people closer to the United Nations and its principles, create a global youth movement that is engaged in social and environmental personnel and civic actions.

Develop young leaders to assist in the promotion of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)and YUNGA within the University, community, and beyond.
Strengthening project management skills among young people, both for the development of innovative and collaborative solutions, and to mobilize the future leaders of the hemisphere.
